Children’s Ministry Seminar
May 11th & 12th at the Grand Traverse House of Prayer
Speaker: Lenny Laguardia (Director of Children’s Equipping at IHOP-KC)
Lenny will be sharing on the Lord’s heart for the children and how important they are in the Kingdom. He will be sharing from personal experiences and from what the Lord has shown them about the mandate that the Lord has for the younger generation. He will also be giving very practical and key tools for ministry workers, leaders, and parents to equip the children. Whether you are a teacher, parent, ministry leader, or pastor, we invite you to come and gain a deeper understanding on how the Lord sees His children and their purpose.

Encountering Jesus Services

We are thrilled to announce that beginning Saturday, February 18th, we will be holding weekly Encountering Jesus services from 6-8pm. This will be a time for us to come together as a community and seek the face of the Lord in His Word. Come with expectant hearts as we worship Him and go deep into the things of His heart through teaching and prayer.

Saturday, February 11, 2012, 4pm at the Grand Traverse House of Prayer
Greetings! You are invited to see a powerful presentation with Rick Rupp from IHOP-KC and hear amazing God stories of how the Holy Spirit is moving in the islands of the South Pacific. This presentation includes testimonies and miracles from the jungle villages of the Islands of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, as well as a video of love songs to Jesus from the children. Two Christian leaders from Goroka, Papua New Guniea; David Gahare and Jessey Harokaqveht; are here visiting the USA for the first time and are looking forward to sharing some 2 Chronicles 7:14 “Healing the Land” testimonies from personal experience.

City of Refuge Speaker – Steven Burke

Steven Burke will be joining us once again on Friday, February 10th at 6pm to share what the Lord has put on his heart in regard to the Grand Traverse region. For those that may not know, Steven and his family have a ministry called “The Lord Will Provide.” They travel around the world, as the Lord leads, to network and bring support to believers to build cities of refuge. The Lord has called them to help bring people together in the cities they visit, to lay out strategies, plans and actions to prepare for the hard times ahead. We are very excited to have Steven back with us and hope that you are able to attend.

City of Refuge Speaker – Steven Burke

Steven and his family have a ministry called “The Lord Will Provide.” They travel the US and the world, as the Lord leads, to network and bring support to believers to build cities of refuge.
The Lord has called them to help bring people together in the cities they visit, to lay out strategies, plans and actions to prepare for the hard times ahead.
It is such a blessing to have Steven come and share and to brainstorm with him. If you have a desire to know the Lord has called you to play a part in helping to build Traverse City and the surrounding region to a city of refuge, you won’t want to miss this event.

Nefarious, Merchant of Souls Documentary

We would like to invite you to attend the Traverse City premier of Nefarious, Merchant of Souls screening that will be taking place this coming Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 6:00pm at the new location of the Grand Traverse House of Prayer (3211 Garfield Rd, Traverse City, MI)

Rain 2011

We are excited to present RAIN 2011 – this year will be a young adult conference. We are calling all young men and women, and old men and women, to join us to contend for our region, nation, and world. This will be a time of corporate worship, prayer, and Spirit lead teaching. Cory Asbury and his team will be coming back this year. Also joining us is Corey Russell and Graeme and Sabrina Walsh; who are leadership at IHOP-Kansas City. Rick Warzywak from Transformation Michigan will be coming to join us as well. We will be hosting this conference at Traverse City Christian School on July 29th and 30th. Join us in this critical time as we worship Jesus in spirit and in truth. Seating is limited so please register as soon as possible.
Healing rooms
We will be initiating our healing room at the Rain conference and will have a regular weekly time to sit in the presence of the Lord and receive prayer for physical healing – watch this space for more information.
